Julia Lee Harter is an Austin-based writer, creator and disability advocate. As a Staff Writer for YouTube and Google, she has had the unique opportunity to interview everyone from artists to scientists to creators, inventors, athletes and executives, and help tell their stories to audiences across platforms and continents.
Recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award at the 2025 Disability:IN conference for her impact on disability inclusion, Julia openly shares her experiences living with a rare neurological condition (FND) and ADHD. She uses her personal story to motivate and call for change, speaking at events hosted by The Lincoln Center, Harvard and beyond.
Her free time is spent exploring the city with her husband, cuddling her four pound Chihuahua and enjoying cozy nights binge watching We Bare Bears.
